Day three in Sierra Leone and there’s much excitement. Today we’re headed out to the next village of Kamaha. Upon arrival at the village, we encountered a few locals. It seemed like an opportune moment to set the drone up, whilst it was quiet…
We hadn’t counted on the local school being quite so near. I would never have thought one small drone would have caused so much interest!!
People were coming from the next villages to see this drone. And best of all the kids loved seeing it.

We’re going to Sierra Leone
First question everyone has asked: “Why?!”
Easy answer, why not? Going to Sierra Leone was never one my radar as a place to visit, but given the opportunity I snapped it up. Our intention was to travel to Sierra Leone with the aim of hand delivering a set of memoirs of someone who had survived the Civil War that afflicted the country for 12 years, which Charlie had edited and published here in the UK.
